Aware that our role goes beyond the business sphere, we support education

vocational training, internships, we have industrial apprenticeship programs for young people opening

doors for many first jobs, we adopt how much for people with disabilities,

we support the practice of sports in partnership with NGOs, where we even maintain a field of

football in the company, not only for use by employees but also for maintenance of

some of these projects, in addition to always supporting projects in the social and citizenship areas,

that we can contribute to improving the quality of life in the community.

When the subject is environmental awareness, Itatex proves that success can be built

responsibly. A large part of the water used in production undergoes treatment to be

reused, whether in the production process itself or for irrigation. Between the years 2014 and

2016, with investments in R&D and consulting we were able to reduce water consumption by

almost 50% in beneficiation processes. About energy consumption, our solar park

with more than 2,300 plaques, our commitment to the environment is visible.

In fact, we can say that our business is born sustainable from the raw material

which is constituted from the reuse of fibers from other processes in the textile chain,

in addition, the products categorized as `RAW` and `CHESS`, are items that do not go through

processing processes with chemicals, is our Green Line, so to speak.
